WordPress 3.5 – Updates

Important: You do not need to Upgrade to WordPress 3.5 if you don’t want to !!!

The WordPress Community is reporting a lot of problems with WordPress 3.5 itself. If you have not upgraded yet we recommend waiting a couple weeks until all bugs are ironed out.

WordPress has released a new version called “3.5″ which introduces a variety of changes.

In order to use the latest WordPress 3.5 version you need to upgrade your SmallBiz Theme to Version 3.9

Full Version Customer

Customers that have Purchased the “Full Version” of the SmallBiz Theme:

1) Access the “SmallBiz Theme Download Area” and download SmallBiz 3.9 [Click Here]

Lite / Locked Version Customer

I am not sure if I have the “Full Version” or the “Lite – Locked Version”

1) Log into WordPress

2) Go to “Appearance -> SmallBiz Options”

- The Lite version has only 1 Layout to choose from called “Classic”.
- The Full Version has 12 Layouts to choose from.

- The Lite version has only 3 header graphics and no option to upload your own Header Graphic
- The Full version has 12 header graphics (+36 to download) and you can upload your own

- The Lite version has Mobile Detection and Facebook disabled
- The Full version does have Mobile and Facebook Options
